If its got his name then I don't think the investigation will be that huge. If you make a FORMAL complaint, then by law they have to follow it up. However, it MAY only be a warning, that is up to discretion.
And just so you know, in 2011 there were 33 people, nine of which were prosecutions, for those not wearing a helmet or bicycling on a sidewalk. So you weren't alone, but clearly they were very selective. That's a pretty low number, so ironically maybe these things were NEVER ticketed until you, and then when you made such a big 'public' deal about it they felt they HAD to ticket people to show they weren't just selecting you out.
So ironically, you don't like biking on the roadways and don't like wearing a helmet, and yet you may have been responsible for increased vigilance of those two laws. Neat, huh?

This maqn will never be ticketed - he doesn't have a blogsite that tells the truth.
You SAY that a lot charles, but you never prove it. A few pictures of people not getting ticketed doesn't prove your theory, not even close.
There were those two girls whose job it was to ticket and give warnings, I never saw a single picture or video of them letting somebody go by, or even ticketing a poor person.
We know about you, and you've blogged Andre Murray's confusing story, which hasn't been validated, but certainly makes the police look bad IF its true. However, you really need proof, namely, finding out who those other seven prosecutions are, and those 33 who got ticketed. Until then its just your claim, which seems only backed up by what you think, and I don't think you are right nearly as often as you think you are.
However, again, make the complaint and see what happens. If you DON"T complain, then its really like refusing to vote-if you see a wrong, and do nothing about it, then you have no right to go on about it. To use your words, if you don't vote, then shut up!

9.04 - Mikel: you should stop making comments about things you have no personal knowledge or experience of, since you are undermining legitimate attempts to change things for the better in Fredericton, NB. I live in downtown Fredericton and I see cyclists all day every day, 12 - 15 and hour in the summer - who cycle on the sidewalks while cops drive by and disregard them and who cycle on the road while cops drive by and ignore them. Iknow tw cyclists who have issues with the Fredericton City police force who have not been ignored by the cops, one of those is Charles. The other one has been run off the road by a cop when he was not wearing a helmet while cycling on a quiet side road with not traffic or pedestrians - the cop actually ran him onto the sidewalk and then charged him for cycling there - after the guy was assaulted, thrown to the ground,handcuffed and arrested (arrest then rescinded. So Mikel, please spare us your pious sermons on Charles not proving anything - there are many who would happily give evidence in courr ot provide sworn testimony that he is correct. It's time you supported change instead of trying to sound clever to boost your foolish ego.
