Don Macpherson seem to cover issues that will condenm the less fortunate!
Did he signed a deal with the Fredericton Police Force? Is he called when the less fortunate goes to court???
I was surprised when he publicly denounced me in the Paper but I'm not allowed to write a letter against his flase story.
What was the name of the paper in Russia that wouldn't allow critical letters????
Time to shut down this Irving paper???

Don't blame Don - he does what Irving tells him to do, which is what the government tells Irving to do. The entire system is corrupt here.

How did he "denounce" you Charles? Are you still on about him calling you a litigant (a word that is defined as someone involved in court action, which you were)?
If that is why you are on a rant against the Irving's again... then you have deep seated mental problems and I implore you to seek professional help before its too late.

I think the above got it a bit wrong, I highly doubt Irving EVER does what the government tells them to. If anything it is the other way around (I doubt the government TOLD the Irvings to cap their property tax on the LNG terminal at $500,000 when a company in Levis, PQ was offering $8 million dollars, and in Maine the standing offer was $10 million a year in property taxes). Funny how when the province is going broke nobody is even talking about the 7 million dollars Saint John has been out each and every year of its operation.
It's true that Charles wasn't a 'litigant', because thats civil court. I agree though that Charles is flying way off the handle for a pretty slight remark, although I do think it deserved SOME criticism. Mr. Macpherson linked Charles with those 'clogging up civil courts'. It is true though that Charles refused to pay his fines and elected to go to court, so it does have SOME merit.
And as for his letter, Don is not the editor, so that is not his decision, unless Charles has some evidence that Don went to the editor and told him (her?) not to print Charles letter.
Lots of people have written letters to the editor that weren't printed, that has nothing to do with Don. There are LOTS of reasons to criticize Irving, particularly their media, but this is just creepy Charles. You post pictures of you being buddy buddy with the Irvings themselves, and then go on attacks against reporters. As others have said, reporters do stories that are assigned to them, and complicated legal issues aren't something they deal with.
So yeah, mellow out man. Take a look at the foolishness of the Irving papers sometime to see how out of line they are. Yesterday was a page long story from a city planner bragging about how Fredericton is poised to be one of the big future winners because 'people in the future can pick where they want to work, and Fredericton will be one of those places' (and it will be complete once there is an indoor swimming pool and another bridge over the river!).
That kind of delusion (not that Fredericton isn't pretty and all) is what Irvings papers are noted for-make the public nice and smug about what a wonderful place they are in so that nobody feels the need to pay attention to politics.
LeBlanc; you have abused your freedom of speech for years. I wouldn't mind seeing you silenced because of that abuse.
There is no investigative journalism at all in the Gleaner (or any other Irving paper) it is reactive, like MacPherson's work, not investigative, which is why nothing ever changes here. The Irvings and the GNB have a symbiotic relationship and help each other to cheat the public of money and justice.
