Carlos & Gail used to offer up some rreally great food. Hope they're not giving up on the restaurant business.

Yes they have been continually experiencing road blocks in their attempts to further their business.
From the very beginning I was visiting their restaurant and hearing horror stories of city by-law enforcement and or threats against the owners from THE CITY OF FREDERICTON including everything and anything imaginable from Signage to big or generally wrong size to parking regulations et cetera.
These people as does anyone who is not on the "INSIDE-CIRCLE" has nothing but hassles in this city doing business.
Charles go down and do an interview with the owners and see for yourself.
They likely can not reveal the experiences which they have suffered at the hands of City Councilors because no one will buy the business if they really could comprehend the insanity that which prevails here in this city government.

Not all rules are reasonable either.
While good points are raised, there is one reason that I stopped going. They brought their pet dog to work. I do not want dogs in a restaurant unless I am in Vietnam and dog is on the menu.

If the rules were not sensible, our city council chambers would be jammed full of irate citizens. Only authority haters find the rules to be not sensible. You know...the bucking broncos like Charles, Laurie, Andre, and the rest of the miserable gang. Once authority confronts them about something they've done wrong, they are deeply offended. They become vindictive and combative people, and in many cases, it lasts for the rest of their lives. Sad.
