Fredericton Chief of Police and Mayor in conflict....

June 9, 2011, Charles the Blogger uploaded a video of a #Fredericton Police Officer handing him a ticket for $140.00 for riding a bike on the sidewalk.

They didn't actually catch charles doing this, an anonymous tipster informed police, and the police acted, issuing the ticket.

January 3, 2012, Charles the Blogger uploaded a youtube video of an interview he did with the mayor, and near the end of the video asks Mayor Brad Woodside what he thinks about the whole thing and he responds.

There is a court date set on the matter, March 29, 2012. 2pm

Residents of Fredericton should take this seriously, since even a minor infraction can lead to automatic 'guilt' when bylaws are 'reported' to have been broken.

Mayor Brad Woodside needs to pull in the reins of his police force, who appear to be operating their own agenda, and without consequence.
