I second Andrew's thoughts on getting somewhere for concerts and hockey as well. Saint John has the Harbour Station, Moncton has the Coliseum, what do we have? The Aitken Centre, which pales in comparison. Fredericton is the capital city, dammit, how about making it more like a city?
This isn't field of dreams, just because you build it doesn't mean they'll come.
There's a reason fredericton doesn't get big ticket events and it's not because we are lacking the facilities.

It always amazes me to see how the people of Fredericton complain about everything!! Get with it people....we live in a wonderful city. You people have no idea how lucky you are to live in such a wonderful place. The new convention centre is an awesome addition. If you don't like it in Freddy, leave and take your whining, moaning, complaining asses elsewhere.
