The Criminal Intelligence Service New Brunswick on hunt by Blogger!!!!

banner_top_c

What does the Criminal Intelligence Service New Brunswick do anyway???

Part one -

Part two -

Here's a blog I wrote on this issue last year...

img_36742046459610_6e38ed777f

A couple of days ago, I found out that former Saint John Police Chief Al Bodechon will lead the CISNB!!!!

At first, I asked - WHAT THE HELL IS THE CISNB???

It stands for Criminal Intelligence Service New Brunswick!!!

I have never heard of them before so I decided to find out what the hell it was?

After much searching I finally located the building.

Noting here about the CISNB!!!!

img_3661

Now, since I have been very critical of the R.C.M.P. and the Saint John Police Force. There's no way in the world that I was going to walk in the building alone.

We located the area where the CISNB were station. It was on the top floor.

The elevator door open and I almost bumped into this tall guy. He was all dress in a Fredericton Police uniform.

I taught it was Chief Barry MacKnight? < Found out later it wasn't > I could tell that he knew me and gave a nice hello.

Once at the top floor, I was surprised to see the Canadian Forces in the same area.

Then we finally located the CISNB!!! It wasn't a glass door but a steel one.

There's no way in the world I was going to knock at the door to asked some questions?

I decided to take a picture.

Now this is where the action began!!!!

It would just happened to the Blogger. My Flash went off and at the same time two guys in plain clothes open the door.

I said to myself- Ohhhh Boy!!!!!

The guys looked surrpised that we were in the hallway.

I quickly asked if this was the CISNB?

The guys were polite. I introduced myself and they did the same. < I won't mentioned their names >

I wanted to know if the CISNB could investigate a complaint I had with the Saint John Police Force?

Of course, I knew this wouldn't go anywhere. I just was just curious for their answer?

They told me that they investigate serious crimes. They also told me there are 12 people who works in their office.

I asked if it was true that Al Bodechon is their new Boss?

They were surprised that I knew this information and said - You know a lot about this? He's going to start his job in a couple of weeks.

I shook their hands and left the area.

So? New Brunswickers are going to have a guy like Al Bodechon as head of the Crime Intelligence Service?

This is the same Chief who applauded his officers to lie in court and destroy evidence to convict New Brunswsickers.

This is a serious issue!!!

Who pays for their salaries anyway?

Do we need a CISNB in New Brunswick?

Jennifer Lynn McKeen is remembered by KHJ Journalist Randy McKeen!!!!

Sad story in this one...only 53 years old......My deepest sympathy to Randy and her family.

Here's Randy in his own words...

I ask for your indulgence this morning as I return to this spot after a ten day absence. While I usually try to address the issues of the day, regular listeners know I occasionally share some personal thoughts. And this is one of those days.

One reason is that I was out of the province for most of last week and am still trying to get caught up on what went on. But more importantly, I wanted to tell you about a woman who deserved so much more than a couple of paragraphs in a newspaper obituary.

My sister Jennifer died unexpectedly a little over a week ago and for those of you knew her, you don't need me to tell you how much she'll be missed. But while she continues to have dear friends in and around Fredericton, it's been more than thirty years since she lived here and
so most of you have no idea what a remarkable woman she was. In fact, until last week, I had no idea.

Certainly I was aware of what she meant to our family. Not only did she meet the challenge of being a single mother head on, raising a remarkable young man, she finished her education while keeping a roof over their heads and food in their bellies. She took on the responsibility of our little sister until she died 15 years ago.

She then helped raise our sister's daughter and was in the process of doing the same with our sister's granddaughter when she died. I knew all that. I also knew that for our extended family, Jennifer served as the hub into which all the spokes fed. While most of us form a small circle of
communication, Jennifer spoke regularly with everyone and I mean everyone...aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, step relatives and in-laws...no matter where on this planet they happened to be. I also know she did this while working for the past 20 years at Bryony House in
Halifax, where she counseled women and children who were victims of domestic abuse. I certainly admired her for that and wondered how she managed to endure that stress in addition to that which comes with being a McKeen.

What I didn't know until last week that she somehow managed to give as much of herself to her job and her clients as she did to her family. I learned that - contrary to policy - she would give clients her home phone number and made sure they had what they needed, even if it came
out of her own pocket. I also learned that - despite her compassion and kindness - Jennifer did not back down from a fight. I learned that not just her clients, but also her fellow staff, depended on my sister to stand up against injustice, regardless of she might be affected. And I
learned through the packed church for her service that she did all this while establishing and maintaining friendships with scores of remarkable people.

No matter who you were or what you did, my sister would help you if she could and suffer with you if she couldn't. Almost all of us live our lives by trying to do the right thing. I'm so proud that my little sister succeeded so well in doing so. I wish I were as strong.

So true...

To quote Elie Wiesel,

There may be a time when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest.

Guess where this picture was taken???/
