WTF? Supporting dots? I have no idea what they were doing but message, whatever it was, is completely lost.
The point of the event was to raise awareness about the lack of mental health services for children and youth in New Brunswick. This is actually a serious problem because there is only a few beds for youth with mental health issues in NB. The dots were to 'Connect the Dots' which was a document released by the child and youth advocate surveying 9 families with children and youth with mental services. Today, these people raised awareness to connect the dots, a realization that mental illness is not a death sentence.

I know this is an issue you have blogged about many times. You kept Ashley Smith's story in the forefront long before the msm took it on. Wasn't it amazing to see and hear people of all ages and from all parts of our community taking on the issue with such big hearts?
this is a great community! I hope this event is the last piece needed to add to all the work M. Richard has done on promoting treatment services for our youth to help turn the corner on this issue.
