To refer to the individuals to whom we are refering in this instance as jerks, Charlie is certainly nothing short of displaying the epitome of absolute politeness. But I do certainly understand that, being the humble and bashful soul that we all know you as, that is probably the strongest language that we should come to expect from you. The only reason that I, myself cannot refer to them as nothing more than absolute Assholes and the scum of the earth, my friend, is because you know, as we all do, that to lay on them what they truly deserve, in the face of Almighty God, would be unprintable in every sence of the word. And if we were to be a nation who had any belief, whatsoever in discipline and punishment for these kinds of things instead of a nation of bleeding hearts crying about cruel and unusual punishment, the absolute appropriate sentence to hand down to them would be a six to eight month tour of duty digging up land mines and anti-tank explosives in Afghanistan.

You can rest assured that our troops in uniform would, most certainly appreciate the assistance and would have no problem, whatsoever, making the most of their time for them. Me thinks that the thoughts and dreams goin' through their heads of gettin' their little hinies back home to Canada again would look pretty damned invitin'. People of the age that these punks are now, in the 1940's were lying about there age, for God, sake to get into the Canadian Armed Forces so they could go overseas and serve their country in combat.

What a slap in the face and an absolute and complete disservice to troops, past present and future, to pull a stunt such as this.

Imagine the veterans who will now have to stand there in Remembrance knowing and seeing the damage that has been done, not only to the cenotaph itself, but to the very core of this nation we call Canada and to those who lie buried in foreign lands far away from home, not to mention the ones that we see, all too often being brought back home in flag-draped caskets.

They certainly deserve nothing less than a good severe ass-whippin'. Something that would leave a clear and unforgettable reminder etched in their brain of the consequences to be faced should they ever again entertain any such thoughts or ideas in the years to come.

In any event, Charlie, my boy, keep up the good work because, as usual, my friend, you're doin' one helluva fine job. And please excuse me for a few of the words that I used here. Hopefully it is still printable.

UPDATE -

I went in the area this morning but the pieces were gone.




The Jerks pushed the Cross and it hit the corner.




There's one good thing that will come out out of this. I predict the biggest turnout for Remembrance Day we have ever seen in Fredericton.
