Anonymous said...: Could it have anything to do with the fact that you're waving an upside-down New Brunswick flag in front of the security guard's face? Reminds me of of a Spaniard waving a red flag trying to get the bulls riled up. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's considered an insult to hang a flag upside down, especially in front of one of these guys at the Legislature who are mostly retired military and or RCMP / police officers. To them the flag is sacred. Talk about waving a red flag in front of a bull!

Anonymous said...: Hey, the RCMP and police are nothing compared to the Knights of Phythias, they used to do an initiation ceremony with a skeleton wrapped up in a cape inside a coffin - not joking. A few years ago police and firemen were called to an alarm at the building (a church?) in southern NB (for some reason I think St. Andrews) where the Knights of Phythias had their regular meetings. In the course of searching through the basement for fire, they found this coffin. I am not kidding. This stuff really happened.

So the RCMP and Police and Military performing blooding rituals on our flag is small potatoes compared to that!!
