Fredericton Police Force donne une Entreview en Francais and in English!!!

While covering the arrest of the hit and run at the Justice Building yesterday? I found an issue that was very interesting.






All the media were there to cover the event.






Fredericton Police officer Ralph Currie gave his briefing!!






All the media were happy but not all!!!

Radio-Canada was also there and they asked if a Police Officer could speak Le Francais???

Ralph Currie went on the hunt to locate a French Cop.

This reminded me of a Protest by 50 Acadiens from Tracadie in 2005.

They held a protest at the Health Department Building on King Street. 10 Police officers showed up < I had no camera in those days > but nobody could speak Le Francais!!!





French Immersion??? Now this should be good!!!!

I just had to have some fun so I interviewed the French Immersion Police officer.

The Officer wasn't too comfortable to be interviewed en Francais < I don't blame him > so the hunt went on for a French Cop.

The problem with someone who takes French Immersion is they live in an area where they can't practice their Francais!!!

They finally located someone on the radio.

30 minutes later a French Police Officer finally showed up!

It was Cst. Sebastien Blanchette!!!







He's a Brayon from La République du Madawaska!!!





It was going to be the very first time the young officer was going to be interviewed by the media.





He must have been nervous?
