It's official, CBC is hard up for stories.
If they're re-telling your story, no offence, they're either hard up or have no idea what news is. And, given the fact they're over-paid, left-leaning civil servants, I'm going to go out on a limb and say they probably woke up from one of their four or five naps yesterday and decided they hadn't put you in a story in a while and 'voila.'
I like your blog Charlie, but your ban is NOT news. Never was, still isn't.
Get banned from Wal-Mart or Sears, then CBC can do a story on you. That is, if they're awake.

No where in my post do I condone or even imply that I condone what Charles has been subjected to.

What I'm getting at, and you'd have recognized this if you had have a brain cell, was the fact that CBC was going to tell the story AGAIN! It's old news. Until there is a significant development, it's not worth a story.
No offence to Charles, but it's not worthy of any coverage, not even by a lame reporter like Roy Gjelstad.
Let's not get carried away. The ban is HUGE news, that it is so rarely in the media is the real crime.
But why all of sudden today it gets featured is interesting. Why not yesterday,or the day before?
It says a lot about a commentor that they think a ban from Wal Mart is newsworthy, while a ban from the legislature isn't-thats just weird. Wal Mart at least is private property. I can 'ban' people from my property for any reason that I want, its all perfectly legal and not 'newsworthy' at all. But the legislature, thats a VERY different story.
But anybody that thinks CBC is 'left leaning' really has their priorities out of whack. If you think CBC is left leaning, you REALLY don't know what left means.
