I designed that shirt and was going to sell them as part of a fund raiser for any legal battles. However I was told that I may have been breaking the law by doing this so have decided not to do it.

The good news is that the "No to NB Power" group on Facebook has said that a legal challenge is coming and 30 or so lawyers are working on it...some pro bono.

Also they will be providing details of how to donate to a legal fund. Apparently it is not easy to set something like this up in New Brunswick.

So Charles there is a legal battle coming and it is going to be nasty. 30+ lawyers involved smacks of trouble for the LIEberals.

I'm afraid the people who are against the deal are the same people who are gonna sh@t on NBPower later this year when it asks for a 4.5% rate increase.

To Anon 9:58 - That is better than the alternative.

When we defeat this sale and make it die a quick death then the momentum should shift to holding government accountable for the mismanagement of the utility.

Salaries are too high, too much cronyism, and overall poor management decision have been made.

No money should be allowed to go to government until the NB Power debt is wiped clean.

I hope the people that are agains this deal, have lots of money to pay the dept. It will take a rate increase of 8% for the next 20 year. Good luck to the people who are on U.I. and the senior on old age security.
