Charles camera is broken

This afternoon, I bought my camera to Future Shop on Prospect.

The girl at the counter recognized me.





I didn't know the girl but I knew her Father. He delivered some food for me last Christmas from Les Chevalier de Colomb Conseil 8409, Sainte-Anne-des-Pays-Bas!!!





It is indeed a small world!!!

I left my camera at Future Shop and I was told it'll take over one month to get it back!!!





I walked down the hill to go home. I had my old camera and it still takes good pictures.





That little camera went through a lot!!!

Especially when the camera was on the ground while I was arrested by the Saint John Police Force.





It's a good little camera but it cannot handle video too well.

I said to myself - Oh well!!!! I'll just have to wait for my 2 month old camera to be fix!!!

I arrived home around 5:00pm and received an email!!!

Someone asked me if I wanted a camera???

I knew the individual and I'll admit that I was surprised by this proposal!!!

I quickly emailed the good hearted person to say that it was OK!!

The individual quickly replied and insisted that he buys me a camera!!!

He continued by telling me he's a big fan of the Blog!!!

I really wanted a camera but I felt bad to accept such a gesture.

At the end, I gave in!!!

The individual asked me if I wanted a higher grade camera??? Price was no object!!!

I again replied and said- Hey? I'm not greedy!!!! Same brand like the broken one will be just fine!!!

The individual would be at risk if he was caught with me in public. Mailing the camera could give the individual away!!!

I suggested we meet at the Library near Queen Street?

No problem!!! The exchange will made between 6:45pm to 7:00pm!!!

I got dressed and no Blogger Jacket or hat!!!




This was Secret Spy Stuff!!!!




I always believe that area was quiet!!!

With the Army post < What do you call it again ? > beside the Library? It's a very busy spot!!

I came early!!!



The indidual gave me the license plate numbers so I would recognized my supporter.

You must understand that I never met the individual but I know of him.

The vehicle which he described some came along but it was the wrong numbers on the license plate.

I quickly found out that to be a good spy? I NEED MY GLASSES!!!!!...lol

One vehicle quickly droved in the parking lot and a guy came out with a bag in tow....

I said- Hey? How is it going????

The guy just looked at me with a dirty look. Can't blame him!! Someone arriving dress in black and in the dark? Pretty scary.

A quick look at the License plate told me that I had the wrong numbers.

I waited and waited!!!




It was 7:30pm and still nobody in sight with a bag. It was windy and my feet were beginning to get cold!!!

Patience is a Virtue

I decided to go at the Royal Bank to warm my feet.






They were so cold that I had to remove my boots for a few minutes.

While I was getting warmed up. A woman walked in to make a withdrawal.

I told her not to worry!!! I was just waiting for someone.

One guy came from inside the bank. He must have believed that I was a homeless guy escaping the cold? I SURE FELT LIKE ONE!!!!

He never said a word.

The time was 7:40PM so I decided to call it a night.

Maybe it was just a prank and I got caught????

But the individual sounded so real via our exchange of emails.

I decided to try the Library just one last time!!!

I walked and this vehicle was park near-by. I took a look at the numbers on the plate and BINGO!!!!!

WE HAD CONNECTION!!!!

It was my first face to face meeting with the individual and I knew that he couldn't be seen in public with this blogger.

He gave me a package and we chatted for 30 seconds and away he went in the dark night.

Yes, it was a very quick exchange!!!

He told me to continue the good work. He loves to read my blog.

Once home, I opened the bag and sure enough!!! It was the same camera as my last one!!!





With an 8GB memory card!!!!

Yes, it was nice of the individual to step forward with that camera.

Often, I get down on myself. You know closing in on 50 years old and blogging in the Capital.

I often tell myself - What the heck are you doing anyway?

My Priest always told me to fight for the poor and for people who don't have a voice!!!





I'm a strong believer that we're all here for a reason and it's my faith that keeps me going!! < NOT A BORN AGAIN FREAK!! >

Gestures such as the guy who bought me an external hard drive for Christmas.

Yes, I couldn't blog like I'm doing if I didn't have the support from the public!!!

I just received another email from someone who wanted to give me a camera???

Yes, God knows who reads this blog???

To the stranger? Thank you very much!!!

Once my camera gets fix? I'll have two extra cameras for emergencies.

I can now continue to challenge the Politicians on the streets of the Capital.

Such as this one with Minister of Police Safety...opppssss I meant Public Safety John Foran!!!

I confronted the Minister about him supporting Fascism in New Brunswick!!!

This issue will really be on the front burner once the Legislature opens in March!!!
