MAYOR OF SAINT JOHN IVAN COURT HASN'T CHANGE!!!!

While in Saint John, I hear from different people that Mayor Ivan Court has change?

These people were supporters of Ivan so I was definitely surprise to hear this?

So being the curious blogger that I am? I decided to pay the Mayor a visit. It was my very first time that I visited Ivan since he have elected Mayor.

I walked in his office and there he was meeting with his Assistance but he took the time to chat with me!









I did forward my concerns about a few issues.










I was surprised to hear that the Irvings never came to his office to meet the new Mayor.


I told me that he used to get 20 to 30 calls as a councillors but the numbers increase since he's been elected Mayor.

He made himself very clear on one issue!!! He answers every phone calls!! Especially from the people who got flooded in the Mountain Road area.

As he said- 140mm is a lot of rain!!!!







We discussed many other issues which I won't disclose. It's between myself and the Mayor. Of course, his assistant was watching the conversation very closely. He never intervene once!! That's a good thing!!!







He's very proud of the many cruise ships coming to the port!!!









At the end, he showed me the 1,000,000th visitor from the cruise ship and asked me to sign the Guest Book!!!









Yes, Ivan Court came a long way from being a small spokesperson for the Friends of Saint Joe's to being elected the Mayor of the Largest City of New Brunswick. I believe the Mayor will do a fine job!!!

Time will tell!!!

I might take a walk with the Mayor around the South End next spring!!!!
